I understand that leaving your furry friends behind can be stressful. That's why I provide a warm, welcoming, and safe environment for your pets to stay in while you're away, either at my home or in yours. Before you leave your fur babies in my care, we must conduct a meet-and-greet visit.
A meet and greet is a scheduled appointment that lasts no more than 30 minutes. If my service is dog walking, pet sitting, or general house sitting, the appointment is at your home. The meet and greet is at my home if the service is daycare or overnight dog boarding.
We will review every aspect of your pet's needs for successful pet sitting, dog walking, or dog boarding. This includes what I offer and what your expectations are. I need to know how to enter your home, what your pet eats and how much, whether they require medication and how to administer that, where their leash is, what their usual walking route is, etc. Please visit the Boarding Information page for more details on what I need for overnight boarding.
During meet and greets in my home, your dog will be slowly introduced to my dog, Katniss, a lab/pug mix.
I offer one free meet and greet per client's dog or cat. That means if you adopt an additional pet in the future that you would like me to pet sit for, I would love to do another free meet and greet to make sure I fully understand their unique needs.
Use the Contact page to send a direct message, call (704) 940-7497, or email me at erica@piedmontpetsitting.com. I am highly flexible with time slots and can usually work meet and greets into the same week as you request.
